Can I patch up a woodpecker's hole in a tree? If yes, with what?

Yes you can but i wouldnt really worry about it...You can use a can of spray foam insulation that you can find at home depot for around $5. That is what I use on holes in our trees. You could also use a prunning seal but it wont really "fill" the hole. Hope this helps.
