Sky diving/base jumping?
Depending on your aptitude, it will probably take at least 30 jumps for you to get your licens. In my area (near Fortcampbell), the lessons and first jump cost a little less than 200 dollars. Each jump after that costs about 50 dollars. These figures included equipment. After you get your own equipment and license, they cost drops to 25-30 dollars, depending on the height you jump from. (obviously, the higher the jump, the more freefal before you have to open you 'chute (canopy)). I bouught a mirage container, perfomance design sabre, the reserve and a safety computer (cyrprus) for $28.00. This is for a top of the line outfit. It was used, but not much. I also paid 120 dollars for an altimeter and 60 dollars for a helmet and goggle. It is fun, and such a rush. I have over 1200 jumps and ten hours of free fall and haven't had a scratch so far. Statistically it is safer than horseback riding. Goodluck, and stay safe!!!
