What did Van Gogh do to make the world a better place?

He painted a lot of paintings. I think his paintings were beautiful. When I look at them, I think that Van Gogh paid a lot of attention to beautiful things that people don't pay much attention to, such as flowers, landscapes, and people. He contributed greatly to modern art.
