I have a 1985 yamaha maxim with no spark. see details, AND how do I know what size engine this is? JYA=?

If someone knows about the cdi igntion, my box number if TDI14-44. Will any other number box work or do I need exactly this one? I've come accross a million of them, none with the "44" at the end.
