Why is it I cant meet people?or a girlfriend?

This is my first yahoo question sooo here I go.I am a 21 year old male who dose not have a job(yet)and looks kinda frumpy(basically not very approachable).This I know of why I cannot meet new people,but I'm also funny,and somewhat outgoing.So whats so wrong with me that people don't seem to want to talk to me.
